Alternative Payment Methods

Pay by Phone

You can make a payment by calling our office at 1-877-362-0326 . Please have your credit/debit card or bank account information ready when you call.

Pay by Mail

Make a payment by mail with a personal check or money order, made payable to Jackson County Utility District. Write your account number on your check and send to:

Pay in Person

Make a payment on your account by visiting our office located at 1478 N Grundy Quarles Hwy. Gainesboro, TN 38562.

In addition to cash and checks, we now accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit/debit cards. A $3.00 surcharge will be applied to each transaction.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

If for some reason you can’t make it during business hours, we have a night deposit box for your convenience.

We’ve also made it easy to pay your bill at local area banks. Simply bring in your account information to Citizen’s Bank or First Freedom Bank and submit a payment toward your account.

Direct Payment / Bank Draft

Have your payment deducted automatically from your checking or savings account. Simply print our Direct Payment Authorization form and return it to us.

Past Due Accounts / Late Fees

All bills are mailed at the end of each month and are due by the 11th of the month. Any bill paid after the 11th will be charged a 10% late charge. Also, if NOT paid by the 11th of the month, the account will be subject to being locked within 7 days. Collection and unlocking fees will apply.

Returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

Past due accounts are subject to a $25 collection fee.

Shutoffs

If your meter has been locked, you must pay an unlocking fee of $50 during regular business hours. An after hours fee of $50 is also applied if meter is unlocked after normal business hours.
